External Hemorrhoid
External Hemorrhoids is slightly different from internal hemorrhoids. It can be simply detected by physical observation of the anal area, especially the outer opening of the anus. The main symptom of external hemorrhoids is fleshy growth around the anal area. This fleshy growth indicates the existence of external Hemorrhoids. For some cases, the fleshy growth also appears in internal hemorrhoids. You may get confuse to differentiate between external and internal hemorrhoids. Probably, that fleshy growth outside the anus may make you think that it is external Hemorrhoids, because such excessive fleshy growth appears only in the case of external Hemorrhoids and it is not noticed in any other disease. Straining of veins at the anal opening is the main cause of external hemorrhoids.
Warm Bath is one of the remedies that you can apply at home. Just sit in warm water for 15-20 minutes such that the affected area gets enough exposure to warm water. You have to carry out this procedure three times a day and you will sure get relief from Hemorrhoids. You can also get temporary relief from Hemorrhoids by applying an ice pack on the affected area. Use a soft pillow on the seat if your job involves sitting for long periods of time. That will help reduce possible pressure over the affected area and also relieves your pain. Do not use the tight undergarments because it will increase pressure over the affected area, so try to use loose and comfortable undergarments that will prevent possible pain and pressure over the affected area. A Fiber diet will prevent you from getting constipation as it ensures smooth bowel movement and provides strength to veins. This will relieve you from pain when passing stool. External Hemorrhoids can be cured through surgery or medication. Hemorrhoids ointments will give you temporary relief from pain caused by this condition. Therapies like herbal or homeopathic medicines are also available for the treatment of Hemorrhoids.
Thromboses External Hemorrhoids is the advanced stage of External Hemorrhoids: In this stage the patient feels the swelling or a fleshy lump around the anal region. This results in the clotting of blood in the anal veins. This stage is generally very hurting. It may also get a feeling of itching, irritation or pain. Bleeding may occur due to rough cleaning or scratching to remove the itching, rubbing or due to strain within the anal veins. Pregnant women, aged people, people suffering from constipation or diarrhea and those who are obese are easier to get external Hemorrhoids. Heredity can also cause external Hemorrhoids. Some people believe that one’s sitting posture and prolonged sitting are responsible for external Hemorrhoids. Whereas these factors don’t contribute to the development of external Hemorrhoids, they can only make the condition worse.
